SureSmile® technology lets Dr. Weiss create individualized, precise arch wires designed specifically for the patient by the latest in orthodontic computer technology and robotics. Dr. Weiss and Staff are pleased to be the first office in PA to offer SureSmile® technology!

With SureSmile®, Dr. Weiss is able to treat the malocclusion virtually to a finished result well before the actual completion. This is made possible by computer technology that allows a 3-D image of the teeth and braces to be captured digitally with a specialized scanner. The SureSmile® software gives Dr. Weiss a specialized skill set allowing him to visualize all aspects of the treatment process. This treatment simulation is valuable for creating an accurate and efficient finish, and is available to the patient for viewing as well.

Because the details are worked out beforehand, patients have to deal with fewer alterations to the structure of their appliances. Also, the ability to have the arch wires bent robotically results in a greater degree of accuracy than previously possible. This efficiency in the treatment process combined with highly accurate wires results in shorter treatment time.
